Regional Group Information
9-12 Year Old Swimmers | 4 sessions/week
The Regional Group is made up of competitive swimmers who are actively training to improve their skills and gain experience through regular competition. These athletes typically participate in swim meets once a month, with most competitions lasting between one and two days. These events provide valuable opportunities to apply training in a race setting, measure progress, and work toward personal bests.
Swimmers in this group follow a structured training program that includes four sessions per week, continuing through to the end of June. Practices focus on enhancing stroke technique, developing aerobic capacity, and introducing race strategies appropriate to each swimmer's level.
The Regional Group serves as a critical stage for athletes building a strong foundation in competitive swimming. It helps swimmers grow in confidence, learn accountability, and establish good training habits. Participants are expected to be consistent in their attendance, engaged during practices, and motivated to improve both individually and as part of the team.
