SENIOR Group Information
13 Years & Over | 8-10 sessions/week
The Senior Group is comprised of high-performance athletes who have demonstrated advanced technical skills, a strong competitive drive, and a consistent level of commitment required to compete at Provincial, National, and even International levels. These swimmers are working toward achieving Senior National time standards and are focused on reaching the highest levels of competitive swimming.
Training in the Senior Group demands a high degree of discipline, focus, and personal accountability. Swimmers are expected to be dedicated to their training regimen, reliable in their attendance, and responsible both in and out of the pool. They play an active role in their athletic development by setting performance-based goals, maintaining a high standard of work ethic, and contributing positively to the team's culture.
Entry into the Senior Group is selective and based on both performance and attitude. Athletes must meet with the Head Coach and the Senior Group Coach prior to being officially registered. This meeting ensures that the swimmer is ready to meet the physical and mental demands of the program, and that their goals align with the groups high-performance expectations.
