SPRINT Group Information
CEGEP-aged swimmers and older | 4-8 sessions/week
This group is specifically designed for CEGEP-aged swimmers and older who are focused on maximizing their sprinting potential in the pool. Athletes in this group will engage in four 90-minute in-water training sessions per week, with a targeted emphasis on sprint technique, speed development, power output, and race-specific conditioning. Workouts are structured to challenge and refine each swimmer's explosive capabilities across all sprint events, with individualized feedback and race preparation strategies incorporated regularly. In addition to water training, swimmers are expected to train independently up to four times per week following a structured weight room and general fitness program tailored to complement the sprint work done in the pool. This dryland component focuses on strength, mobility, and athletic conditioning to enhance power, reduce injury risk, and support overall athletic development.
To be fully registered in this group, you must first meet with the Head coach and SENIOR coach.
