TAG Group Information
11-15 year old swimmers | 6 sessions/week
The TAG is composed of committed competitive swimmers who are actively developing the skills and experience necessary to excel at the Regional and Provincial levels. These athletes typically participate in swim meets once a month, with competitions lasting between one and three days. These events provide valuable racing experience and help swimmers apply their training in a performance setting.
Swimmers in the TAG Group train six times per week through to the end of June. The program emphasizes technical refinement, aerobic and anaerobic conditioning, race strategy development, and mental preparation. Athletes are encouraged to adopt a goal-oriented mindset and take increasing responsibility for their own progress.
This group serves as a key stepping stone in an athletes competitive pathway, offering the training structure and competitive exposure needed to move toward higher levels of performance. TAG swimmers are expected to demonstrate dedication, consistency, and a strong work ethic, both in training and competition. They are motivated to improve, open to coaching feedback, and committed to their individual growth and contribution to the team environment.
